The Gaju is the native Gajumaru currency. The smallest subdivision of is the Puck, 1e-18 (one quintillionth) of a Gaju. The maximum number of Gajus that can ever exist within the Gajumaru system is 1 trillion (1 teragaju, or 1 nonillion pucks).
We targeted 1 trillion coins because the Gaju is intended to be what Bitcoin can never evolve to become: a genuine base currency for the global economy.
It will take 87.5 years to mine all of the Gajus according to a pre-determined Fibonacci curve. Any burned coins are returned to the “to be mined” pool, retaining the long-term stability of the overall money supply.
The Gaju coin design uses a Japanese Kanji symbol for tree (‘Ki’) that can be typed in Unicode with a standard keyboard to aid everyday use: 木
