    Your Personal Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the EEA, including countries that may not provide an equivalent level of data protection (e.g. Singapore, the Philippines, India, Japan, Hong Kong, the United States). We implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs), to protect your data during such transfers.

    In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) without undue delay (revDSG Art. 24) and, where applicable, the relevant EU supervisory authority (GDPR Art. 33). If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also inform you directly without undue delay (revDSG Art. 24; GDPR Art. 34). Notifications will include:

    • The nature of the breach
    • Contact details of our DPO
    • Likely consequences
    • Measures taken or proposed to mitigate the breach

    10. Data retention

    We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated or as required by law. Typically:

    • For the duration of your use of the online platform
    • Until you delete your account (where applicable)
    • As long as statutory retention periods require

    Afterwards, we securely delete or anonymize your Personal Data.

    If technical reasons prevent full deletion, we implement measures to prevent further use.

    • Lodge a complaint with the Swiss FDPIC (Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern; info@edoeb.admin.ch) or the relevant EU supervisory authority

      • Seek damages or indemnification under applicable law

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
